Currently our store only ships within New Zealand.
Orders over $150 NZD will receive complimentary shipping.
* For orders under $150 NZD a flat shipping rate*
* of $8.50 for Urban areas and $14.50 for Rural deliveries will be added at checkout.
Please note our courier does not deliver to PO Box or Private Bag addresses. In the event you have provided an undeliverable address, we will contact you.
Eclectic Design House is not responsible for orders lost or missing after the carrier confirms delivery. Any risk associated with leaving goods unattended is borne by you.
*Free shipping excludes glass, pottery and lampshades.
*Oversized items will require a shipping quote before delivery can be arranged. Qualifying items will have this stated on the product page.
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer overseas shipping.
Delivery Time
Eclectic Design House uses third-party services such as NZ Post Courier. Delivery times after dispatch are subject to these third-party services and are outside our control. All delivery timeframes are estimates only, and up-to-date shipping times can be found via the tracking link provided in your shipping email.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working day.
North Island: 1 - 5 business days
South Island: 1 - 5 business days
Rural: 1 - 5 business days

Returns Policy
We love our products and know you will too! However, at Eclectic Design House we know when curating your perfect space sometimes those online orders don’t quite fit! In the event of an unwanted gift or change of mind purchase, we will happily offer an exchange, store credit or refund subject to the following conditions being met:
1. Proof of purchase must accompany the item being returned. You will need to provide the original sales receipt or online tax order showing the item order number
2. Items must be lodged for return within 30 days of purchase
3. Items must not have been used
4. Items must be in original condition with unopened packaging
5. Sale items will receive the option of an exchange or store credit (12-month expiry).
No refund on final sale items.
6. The buyer will be liable for all return shipping of any change of mind or unwanted gift returns
We will not accept change of mind returns for products that are:
1. Marked Final Sale
2. Unpackaged Soaps
Refunds
Many of our items are hand crafted and no two items are the same. Where an item displays manufacturing damage or faults, we will provide you with one of the following at our discretion:
- replace the products; or
- repair the product under the manufacturers guarantee;
- give you a full refund.
The item/s must meet the following criteria:
- Must be returned with proof of purchase - this is essential. You must provide the original sales receipt.
- The item is returned within a reasonable time.
- Please be aware that manufacturing defects do not include normal fair wear and tear and any accidental or non-accidental damage.
Damaged Products in transit
Whilst our team carefully package for a safe transit of your item(s), from time to time due to rough handling by couriers this may not be enough to prevent damage. In the event an item arrives damaged, please carefully follow the steps below:
1. If there is visible damage to your package, please take a photo before opening
2. Check all item(s) upon receipt of delivery
3. Notify our team via email within 48 hours of receipt of delivery
In the event your item cannot be replaced, a store credit or refund will be issued for the purchased value of the damaged item(s).
All items are packaged as carefully and as well as possible. However please check the item(s) upon receipt by the courier and advise us immediately by email or phone call if there is a problem. We will take great care in applying protective packaging for the safe transit of your purchase. From time to time due to rough handling this may not be enough to prevent damage. Please follow the steps below carefully.
If there is visible damage to your package please open and inspect the contents to see if the product is affected. Please email us immediately to notify.
You will receive advice for the product and its packaging to be picked up and we will replace that item on receipt of the damaged item.
All damage claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of delivery.
